The purpose of this project was to select a city and design both a promotional poster and the cover of the city's guide book for the city's visitor board. Travel Juneau is trying to target those who will be drawn to Juneau for it’s truly raw and pure experience of it’s wild scenery. These people will be most interested in experiencing wildlife, and enjoying the wildness of the geography. Therefore, the client wants to bring out the natural attractions while also highlighting the amenities included right in town and draw attention to Juneau’s rich cultural history. By showcasing the unique feature of Juneau's totem poles located along the ocean front of their city, it's both highlighting accentuating a welcoming aspect that tourists will experience and drawing more attention to the culture of the area.
